Trainer, Open Data Institute (ODI)
Ben works on the delivery of training and development for the Open Data Institute’s (ODI) broad range of public, in-house and online courses. Ben has been working as an IT consultant in the private sector and academia, specialising in training, research and project development aspects of new technologies. In his previous capacity at 21c Consultancy, an open data innovation company, Ben delivered open data projects for local government and agriculture. He has experience facilitating creativity workshops and speaking on topics including smart cities and eGovernment to agriculture, education and transport systems.
Ben holds a BA and MA from the University of Nottingham in Philosophy, Theology and Literature with research interests in systems theory and emergence in social and political networks.
